The next breakthrough may come from a Saturday classroom in Manassas

Most new organizations announce themselves at planetary scale. Global Solidarity Advocates is doing the opposite. We are opening a Saturday classroom, a small research term, and a writing practice, and we will let the work accumulate before we claim a map.

The name CAIRN is intentional. A cairn is a pile of stones left so the next person can find the path. Each tutoring session, brief, and episode should be one stone.

What we will not do

We will not lead with unverifiable impact totals. A think tank that cannot defend its numbers is not a think tank. Until an independent count exists, we will report seats filled, briefs published, and what students could do on week eight that they could not do on week one.

What we will do this fall

  • Fill an 8 to 12 student Saturday School cohort.

  • Seat six to ten CAIRN fellows for 90 days.

  • Publish a biweekly podcast and a monthly essay.

  • Write one research brief from notes taken in the room.

If you can teach, study, donate a seat, or send a student, write staff@gsa-cairn.org. The path starts local. That is the point.
